God calls us to serve locally and around the world! We have active ministries in Uganda, Tanzania, Mexico and right here in the neighborhoods of Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. For more information on any of our projects, contact our Global Ministries Pastor, Brian Morehead.
This Christmas, we’re partnering with Africa Renewal University in Uganda as they launch a new School of Missions. Founded in 2007 as the Gaba Bible Institute with just 35 students, the university now serves more than 800 students from across East and Central Africa. Over the years, we’ve partnered with them on several important initiatives, and this year we are excited to help launch this new program that will equip and prepare missionaries to share Christ in Africa, the Middle East, and post-Christian Europe, with a special focus on reaching Muslims. The estimated cost to launch the School of Missions is $225,000, which will cover new faculty and staff, curriculum development, classroom equipment and renovation, marketing, and administration.
Rocky Peak frequently travels to Ensenada to build houses for families in need. Everyone, even kids are able to contribute something to the project! Our high school group also does a house build trip on a yearly basis.
We have ongoing ministry in Tanzania where we’re sharing the gospel with a specific village for several years. Our church also funded the building of a water well that provides desperately needed water, which is still active today!
Rocky Peak partners with Africa Renewal Ministries in Uganda by sending teams to help support the mission of reaching Uganda for Christ. Our church has helped to establish and support Africa Renewal University, which exists to equip and transform leaders in their various disciplines so they can be agents of transformation in their communities.
