Growing up in a Christian household, Lauren always knew the love and support of God. He gave her a gift of storytelling along with the courage and ambition to pursue it. After moving to California to attend film school, she started coming to Rocky Peak and found a church she could call home. As the years went by, she felt a call to leave her film teaching job and take a leap of faith, not knowing where she’d land. She had always been a woman with a plan and didn’t know how to trust God without having a safety net to fall back on. With the women in her Life Group by her side, she realized that God is her safety net and will provide her with all she needs—just as He always has.
