In 2001, Neil volunteered to run the Men’s Ministry, eventually being hired as an intern to run the ministry, while still working a full-time sales job. In August 2004, Neil joined the Rocky Peak staff as the full-time Men’s Ministry Director, also helping to oversee Life Groups as a Life Group Director. In 2008, Neil was offered and accepted a position of Singles Pastor, a ministry to reach and support single adults at Rocky Peak. He also continued to be heavily involved in Life Groups as one of the the Life Group Directors on the Life Group Team. In 2013, he accepted the role of our Lead Life Group Pastor. He loves to see people get plugged into Life Groups and watch as they are transformed into passionate Christ-followers!
One of Neil’s personal passions is photography. He loves capturing moments in time whether it is in Yosemite, in the city or across the world! Neil also has a passion for worship and prayer, and you can find him every Wednesday morning leading FUEL, a group of people who come together to worship and pray over the church at 6am in The Summit. Neil and his wife, Lynn, enjoy being outdoors, look forward to spontaneous adventures, and love to travel.
Lesley Glassford joined the Rocky Peak team as one of our Life Group Directors in August of 2011. Her life story includes growing up in South Dakota and Minnesota, Bible college in Oklahoma, and over 20 years in music ministry, both as a contemporary Christian music recording artist and as a worship leader. She is an accomplished singer, songwriter and musician with a passion for worship and a heart to serve. Lesley is contagiously joyful and enthusiastic, with a deep and sincere love for people, and provides a wealth of ministry and team leadership experience.
Happily married to her best friend and soulmate since 1979, Lesley and her husband, Brian (Rocky Peak Pastor of Communications), live in Simi Valley, love spending time together and enjoy anything to do with sports! They have three daughters, Brittany, Bethany, and Bayley; three sons-in–law, Charley, Christian and Sean; and 5 grandchildren.
Steve joined the Rocky Peak team as a Life Group Pastor in August of 2016. Steve graduated from Hope International University in 2016 with an MA in Ministry/Spiritual Formation. He is also currently working on a certification in Spiritual Direction from Stillpoint Center for Christian Spirituality.
Steve was born and raised in California, but as an adult has lived all over the west. He has always had a passion for wilderness exploration and adventure, and sees the incredible value of using the outdoors to connect people to God and one another, which led him to write a book on that subject. Steve has been married to his best friend and hero, Lesley, since 2003. Lesley is a Marriage & Family Therapist and Steve says that whenever anything cool, deep, or classy comes out of his family you can count on it originating with her. Finally, Steve is a huge Three Stooges and Nacho Libre fan.
Andy joined the Rocky Peak team as a Life Group Pastor in June of 2018. He has a passion to see people experience God so that every area of their life is transformed. His desire is to partner with God to set people free so they can fully walk in the calling God has placed on their lives.
Andy came to Rocky Peak in 2010 and served in the college and young adults ministry for several years as a life group leader and coach. In June of 2018, he graduated from Fuller Theological Seminary with an MA in theology.
Andy loves all things sports with baseball being his favorite. He has been married to his wife, Jacklin, since June of 2016. Jacklin has grown up at Rocky Peak and is a first grade teacher who deeply loves and serves her students. Together Andy and Jacklin love to get outdoors – hiking, backpacking, and camping (Yosemite is their favorite place on Earth!). They also really love food and will regularly go on adventures to find new, delicious places to eat.
Tricia joined the Rocky Peak team as a Life Group Director in December of 2018. She has a passion to shepherd believers and non-believers alike into a deeper relationship with Jesus.
As a young believer she had the privilege of sitting under Tim Keller’s teaching at Redeemer in New York City. She became involved with Redeemer as a Bible Study leader as well as leading worship for various retreats. She was also an integral part of the leadership team for the Haven as their worship leader in New York City, which was a ministry serving young artists and professionals.
After moving to Los Angeles, over 15 years ago, she continued volunteering in many capacities as well as going on mission trips. About 4 years ago, she felt the Lord’s leading to start a women’s Bible study and kid’s ministry at the San Fernando Valley Rescue Mission. She has continued serving weekly at the shelter and, with the help of her husband Grant, implemented a Sunday shuttle service to bring families to Rocky Peak for the church service. Twice, in the last year, Tricia has traveled to Tanzania with The Church at Rocky Peak. During those mission trips the Lord made it clear to Tricia that ministry is where He wanted her to be. She is so thrilled to be a part of such a special team of leaders and is excited to shepherd the leaders of women’s Life Groups!
Tricia and her husband Grant have been married for 11 years and have 2 beautiful kids, Luke and Grace who are 9 years old. They love to spend time as a family outdoors on long walks and hikes with the dogs or cuddled up on the couch watching one of their favorite movies.
Tricia loves vegetarian food and eating well, but she can sometimes be seen indulging in a “grilled cheese” from In-N-Out and in most things chocolate, especially dark chocolate covered almonds!
Stacy was a “stay home mom” before joining the Life Group Staff at Rocky Peak in February of 2018. She worked in the legal field as a paralegal prior to meeting her husband Kevin. Stacy and Kevin have been married for 19 years and have a 17-year-old daughter, Sofie.
Stacy has been involved in Bible Study Fellowship for 5 years and began attending Rocky Peak just over a year ago. BSF was instrumental in helping Stacy to understand God’s Word and in helping her to understand Jesus’ sacrifice for her, which caused her to surrender her life to Him a few years ago.
She was led to Rocky Peak at the encouragement of her sister and brother-in-law, as well as some very close friends, Danny & Crystal Fernandez. Crystal, a long time Rocky Peak partner, placed Stacy’s name in the wall of the Worship Center in 2013 during the Assignment construction, praying Stacy would one day find the Lord. Her prayers were answered!! And now, here she is a part of the staff!!
Stacy has a passion for family, administration and faith and she loves being a part of the Life Group Team where she gets to use the gift of administration on a daily basis. She is humbled by His loving kindness and goodness every day.
