BRENT MARTZ - Worship Arts Pastor

Hi! As Pastor of Magnification here at Rocky Peak, it’s my privilege to help lead you in worshipping God. Worshipping God is really honoring God in your daily life, through everything you do. In our theme verse – Matthew 22:37, magnifying God is what Matthew is speaking of when he says, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart.” Whether you’re sitting in a celebration service on a weekend, singing with us at Peak Praise, or driving to work on Monday morning, you can do whatever you’re doing in an attitude of praise to our Creator! The other day, my son asked me, “Daddy, why do you sing all of the time?” I told him that I sing because when I sing, I’m reminded of who God is and what my response needs to be to each situation as I walk through each day.

There is so much to be excited about in our Worship Arts department as we approach Easter this year. I’m excited to be a part of this “year of purpose” at Rocky Peak. Having studied through The Purpose Driven Life several times, I cannot wait to see what God is going to do in our church. We’ve planned a 24-hour prayer day in February – come any time and spend time praying and seeking after God’s heart for our church. [Jerusalem A.D.] is around the corner along with Good Friday and then our Easter Celebration services.
In my own personal Bible study, God has impressed upon my heart Psalm 25, where we are reminded that in Christ we find true hope. That really is the goal of our entire ministry – bringing hope to a lost world. We seek to use the arts and the gifts we’ve been given, praying to God for His grace and his blessing on our ministry as we seek to bring hope.

There are many ways to be involved in Worship Arts. If you’d like more information, you can indicate it on your Keep In Touch Card following each celebration service or you can call our ministry office… we want to hear from you!

I look forward to worshipping with you in service this weekend!

In Him,
Brent Martz
Pastor of Magnification
