Celebrate Recovery : This inspiring and healing ministry meets at Rocky Peak every Friday! Our evening starts with dinner at 6 pm. Dinner is $5. Or, join us at 7 pm for our worship and speaker in the Small Auditorium. Childcare is available for those attending. Cost is $5 per child, plus $2 for a child’s dinner.

Job Opportunities in Children’s Ministry

Part-Time Lower Elementary Coordinator to oversee our first through third grade programs. Do you love working with people? Do you love helping others find their joy in service? Applicants must have excellent leadership, communication and project management skills. A heart for children is a must! This is a part-time replacement position requiring about 25 hours per week, has flexible weekday hours and requires some weekend hours twice per month.

Part-Time Children’s Worship Coordinator to oversee our worship program for all ages. Do you have a gift of music and a heart for worship? Do you love helping others grow in their worship experience? Applicants must have excellent leadership, communication and project management skills, as well as a demonstrated level of musical proficiency. This is a part-time replacement position requiring 20 hours per week, has flexible weekday hours and requires some weekend hours once per month.

Weekly Prayer Focus

This week’s prayer focus:

• Praise God for an awesome message from Pastor Mike on the Word. Praise God for a great opening statement on the book of John and what it says about our Savior, Jesus Christ.

• Praise God for His movement as He unleashes passionate Christ-followers who pursue God, love others, serve sacrificially and share Christ.

• Pray we would be commited to getting to know God and finding out what He is really like.

• Pray for the hundreds of children who will be coming to Vacation Bible School next week. Pray for good weather and healthy volunteers. Pray that the children will learn valuable lessons about Jesus and how to walk with Him.

• Pray for the funding of the Movement as we seek God’s will and a spirit of generosity amongst the church. Pray for the finances of the church and for giving to increase so we can continue to meet our budget needs. Pray we will be good stewards for what He has provided us.

Please continue to kneel beside us as we seek His presence, patience, wisdom, discernment, clarity and unity as we partner in prayer with Lead Pastor Mike and Lin Yearley and the elders, pastors and staff of The Church at Rocky Peak. Thank you for your faithfulness as you pray for His church and our journey together. Praise God as He continues to answer our prayers in His timing!
